Changes to Tax Deadline

The IRS announced March 17 that the nationwide 1040 deadline will be pushed back from April 15 to sometime in May - most likely May 17. No extensions or payments for individual tax returns will be due before this point. For our Texas clients, this filing deadline was previously pushed back to June 15 due to the winter storms in February.
